The Zine

This is the best illustration on how to make a simple Zine, from Esther K. Smith's book HOW TO MAKE BOOKS. As a lesson on visual literacy, I handed this to groups of students and said "Figure it out, follow the directions." Eventually all of the students constructed a maquette from cheep computer paper.
