Instagram in the Classroom

Do you dreaded writing monthly newsletters to let people know what’s going on in your classroom? If so, you can stop now. There is a better way. Snap a pic and write a quick caption. I have been using Instagram to post photos with captions of the cool stuff taking place in my art room. It's awesome. It's easy!

Have you ever wanted a simple website that is really easy to maintain and update? Guess what, Instagram does that too!  Even if parents and students are not active on Instagram, they can find your class through a web search or shared link. on the web. Network with professional artists and teachers! I have also used Instagram as a tool to engage my students with art ideas inside and outside of class.
