THE ZINE
As a lesson on visual literacy, I handed this to groups of students and said "Okay! Figure it out, follow the directions." Eventually all of the students constructed a maquette from cheap computer paper.
STILL LIFE DRAWING
Drawing party! Students used creative agency to design their own still life, and practiced their observational drawing skills.
CREATIVITY ACTIVITY
Students worked collaboratively in groups to brainstorm 50 new, innovative uses for random materials!
TAPE CASTING
Students learn about the form, the mold, and the cast. They practice the art of casting in tape, and then put their skills to the test in a site specific installation.
