Design a Sign Typography Project

This is a technology based art unit that focuses on the creative career of graphic designers. Students study typography and learn how image, text, and white space are used to sell ideas. This is a fun project because art students feel like real life designers. Students apply their knowledge of graphic design by working with a client (the school) to produce a sign that appeals to a specific demographic (middle school students).
